Volunteers Gail & Elgin Jenkins will be presenting this seminar. The purpose of this seminar is to discuss how clergy sexual abuse affects the church and the entire community, and how to survive the aftermath. The conference is open to all local church leaders and church members. 
Topics Include: What is clergy sexual abuse? How does this happen? Is there an imbalance? Why is this abuse & not an affair? How could this happen in our church? What should we do? Who can we trust? How do we come together? And much more! This is a conference from which everyone will receive an educational benefit. Don’t miss it!

You are responsible for your own lodging and transportation, if necessary. There is limited seating and the conference will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Topics include: What is clergy sexual abuse? How does this happen? Is there an imbalance? Who is vulnerable? What are the vulnerabilities? Why is this not an affair? How do we prevent this? Where is God? How to start over? How should the church respond? And much more!
Who can attend? This conference is open to adult victims/survivors and their spouses (or support persons), as well as adults who were abused by a spiritual leader as a child/teen/youth.
Note: There are no childcare services available for this conference.
Meals: Lunch and snacks will be provided during the conference.
